Support Provided
Advocates through the Family Abuse Shelter are available to assist victims of domestic violence, including victims of Federal crimes, with obtaining legal assistance, employment, housing, and other necessary support services. Advocates are also present at the Municipal Court every morning to assist victims with court advocacy.

How can you help? It’s easy! Miami County Family Abuse Shelter could always use these daily use items:
- **Men’s/Women’s deodorant (travel size is great)**
- Bath towels & washcloths
- Sturdy combs & hairbrushes
- **Disposable razors**
- Bedsheets (full & twin size)
- **Blankets & comforters & pillows (all sizes)**
- Baby bottles/bottle brushes
- Sippy cups
- **Cleaning supplies (Clorox wipes, cleanup, Lysol)**
- Paper products & plastic-eating Utensils
- Toilet paper (must be septic safe)
- **Pots, pans & kitchen utensils**
- Kitchen towels & washcloths
- Trash bags (kitchen & yard size)
- **Zip-lock bags (gallon & quart freezer)**

You can drop your donations at the Shelter (16 E. Franklin St, Troy) or you can drop them at the United Way MCO’s office at 116 W. Franklin St. Troy.
